One-day workshop at Berlin University of the Arts as part of program Iran 101 focusing on Persian Typography & Silk-screening.
Students learned about basics and systems of Arabic/Persian Type. Following this they experimented with typographical letters and silk-screened designs on real material.
* Iran 101 is an academic program of Berlin University of the Arts with the goal to familiarize and engage students with a variety of cultural practices and their potential impact on art productions, representing a glimpse of Iranian culture by looking into contemporary Iranian art and artistic production of artists inside and outside of Iran through a series of lectures, film screenings, workshops and panel discussions.
